Oregon recorded 10,495 abortions in 2025, the highest number since 2009, with fewer out-of-state residents traveling to Oregon for abortions compared to 2024. The decline in abortion tourism is attributed to the rise of mail-order abortion pills, which allow women to obtain abortions without traveling, while late-term abortions also decreased from 284 in 2024 to 228 in 2025.
